Margie VanAuken grew up on a farm in picturesque Hudson Valley, New York. Her love for making art has been with her for as long as she could hold a crayon. She draws and paints in her home in Bloomington, Indiana which she shares with her husband and cat. Margie's inspiration comes from music, nature, and her rich community of friends and family. The characters and scenes she creates are from her imagination and the knowledge that there is magic all around us.
