"In Monterey, California there is a beach that is beautiful, wild and rugged. The surf crashes and swirls over the rocks that lie on the shoreline. Sunsets there are nothing short of spectacular with the incredible golden color as the mist rises from the Pacific. I was lucky to spend some time there last fall (2024) with Plein Air Magazines' Fall Color Week, and enjoyed painting the coastline. "
