This set of (four) note cards features images by Margaret L Sweany (1928-2012). Margaret made several trips to Italy and Greece (later in her life) with her husband, Paul J Sweany. A lifelong lover of architecture and photography, Margaret appreciated the buildings and landscapes of Europe. She captured thousands of images on film, then painted in her studio back home in Indiana. She often took "poetic" license with her compositions, creating her own images combining elements from a variety of photographs. These giclee reproductions are from the artist's original oil paintings. Images include, Mercato (Italy, 2003), Tuscan Hillside (Italy, 2002), Colorful Mykonos Doors (Greece, 2002), and Green Door (Italy, 2002). Each image is also available as a larger reproduction. Cards and prints are on quality art paper, suitable for framing.
