Robin Lane

Robin Lane grew up with a mother that was artistic. She believes the love and understanding of art was instilled in her at a young age. She has always loved many forms of art and is thankful for this appreciation and talent.

Robin learned how to knit when she was young by sitting on the arm of the couch watching her mother teach her the stitches of knit and purl. She says that she “will always remember her kindness and patience in helping me learn.”

She also loves spinning and weaving and enjoys the process of taking raw wool and making it into yarn for a useful purpose. Robin says, “I especially love the feel and texture of the yarn. It amazes me how you can create something so beautiful from a strand of yarn.”
