The Handy Pump is hand pulled aquatint print by George Jo Mess (1898-1962) and was part of Paul J Sweany's personal art collection. Mess was originally from Cincinnati, OH, but spent many years teaching and creating art in Indiana. He taught at Herron School of Art, where Paul studied with him. His works are in many collections and museums around the US, including the Smithsonian.
The image size is 9x7, matted and framed to 12.5x14.5" in a black wooden frame.
