This transparent watercolor is a lovely portrait study of a lioness, and is a good example of the artist's life-long love of wild cats. It was painted in 1990, during the height of the artist's long career (1940's through early 2000's).
The image size is 9x9", and is double matted in its original silver metal frame to 15.25x15.25" (frame is in excellent condition, the outer matte has a very small yellow dot in the bottom left corner).
