This vertically oriented, transparent watercolor is both subtle and quite alluring. Perched upon some horsetail grass, with a tasty catch in it's beak, this elusive little wren is full of character. This was painted in 1990, during the height of the artist's long career (1940's through early 2000's).
The image size is 5.25x15", and has an -off-white matte with artist-drawn border lines. The painting is in its original cool-toned wooden framed to 12x26" (frame is in excellent condition).
